Frequently Asked Questions

What is coaching?

Coaching is a process which helps a person to move from where they are now, to where they want to be – and to do this more quickly and effectively than if they acted alone.

What results can I expect?

That depends on the effort you’re willing to put in – coaching will only work if you can commit to change and taking action to move yourself forward. Although a coach can help you to identify solutions to your problems and help you to get the motivation you need, ultimately you are responsible for the success you achieve.

How do the sessions work?

Sessions are typically conducted over the telephone. By arrangement I can also offer face to face coaching at locations around the Northwest of England.

Typically a course of sessions starts with a consultation to identify your needs and how coaching can help you. The coaching is then arranged in blocks of either three or six 45 minute coaching sessions, run either weekly or fortnightly to suit your needs.

In between the sessions email support is available to help with any queries or problems that arise.

What does the coaching service provide?

A typical three month coaching programme includes a 30 minute consultation, 6 x 45 minute fortnightly telephone coaching sessions and unlimited email support. Prices vary according to the length of programme and type of support required, so please contact me for information regarding costs and to discuss which programme would best meet your needs.

How can I find out more?
